Ceremonial eye glasses. (Akan) Ghana.
Rare ceremonial glasses were worn by the chief, this pair in gold. They
measure 4 3/4”wide x 1 5/8”high x 5 1/8”deep from the front to the end of
the ear piece. The pair are in the show “Through African Eyes” 2010 exhibition, curated through the International Museum of the Gulf of Guinea, Togo.
